Involvement:

Please join our PTA and our School Advisory Council (SAC).  Sign up to be an ADDitions volunteer.  It shows your child that you want to be a part of their education.  Our school needs you!  Parents and friends of the school help in the classroom, the media center, or by working with individual students through an active volunteer program.  We welcome your help and urge you to become involved.  Call the school to contact the ADDitions coordinator.  The School Board requires all ADDitions volunteers to fill out proper forms and have a background check. This must be completed before you volunteer. For more information please call 407-672-3100.  Dates of PTA meetings, PTA events, and SAC meetings will be announced through the phone system, the school website, and other forms of media.

School History:

Aloma Elementary School was established in 1967 and is located in northeast Orange County. Our attendance zone extends east from the Winter Park Pines area, across Semoran Boulevard, along the south side of University Boulevard to Econlockhatchee Trail. Aloma serves students in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade, and also serves as a Pre-K Handicapped center. Aloma families represent diverse social, economic, and ethnic backgrounds. Aloma underwent a major renovation that included a new administrative center, a new media center, new computer labs, new technology, and renovation of the existing building. The renovation was completed in August 2012.
