$750,000 donation to teachers

Two thousand teachers each are receiving nearly $400 worth of art and crafting supplies thanks to an organization called Stampin’ Up!® It’s a Riverton-based manufacturer of rubber stamps and accessories for paper crafting, scrapbooking and digital designing. “Our arts teachers are fortunate to receive this generous donation of fun items to enhance their classroom curriculum,” said Ashley Sherman of the Fine Arts Curriculum Department at Orange County Public Schools. “When a company like Stampin’ Up! donates their products, our students’ imaginations are sparked in new and exciting ways.”
The donation is a part of the mission of Stampin’ Up!, to make a difference in the communities they serve. The Making a Difference program facilitates corporate giving and promotes service among employees and its independent sales force, known as demonstrators.
