Ribbon cutting

Celebrating the opening of the Ocoee High School Knight Branch at the Exchange, the Central Florida Educators Federal Credit Union held a ribbon cutting ceremony to showcase their newest space.

“All the support we’ve gotten from everybody has been fantastic,” Ken Miller, CFECFU chief executive officer and president, said. “We really wanted to be here to do a wonderful kickoff, and to say thank you to everybody with Orange County. It’s been a wonderful experience for our team and we want to welcome everybody to the CFE financial family.”

In addition to CFECFU’s 22 branches throughout Central Florida, the Knight Branch is the fifth of its kind on an Orange County Public Schools’ campus. Boone, Colonial, Oak Ridge and Timber Creek also have banks, along with four other schools within Seminole and Osceola counties. CFECFU employs 168 high school tellers to operate their nine school branches.

Like a traditional branch, the school based tellers can help guests open new accounts, process deposits and withdrawals, and assist with ordering a new debit card.

Beginning May 1, CFECFU will become Addition Financial.
