Two OCPS schools each received a surprise $10,000 donation for teachers thanks to Burlington Stores, Inc., through its partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org.
The donation is in celebration of its new stores opening in the Central Florida areas of Tangelo Park and Winter Garden.
Representatives from Burlington Stores presented a “BIG” check to each principal during an assembly at each school.
A representative from AdoptAClassroom.org contacted school administrators and helped to secure the donation for the schools, which will provide hundreds of dollars in new supplies for each teacher’s classroom.
Burlington, in partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org, makes a donation to a local school in each Grand Opening market to celebrate a new store location.
