The School Board and the Orange Education Support Professionals Association (OESPA) are pleased to settle impasse by agreeing to pay a one-time $1,000 bonus to all eligible, classified personnel hired in benefited positions on or before March 12, 2021. This bonus shall be paid July 28, 2021, or August 4, 2021, depending on the employee’s payroll cycle. View the impasse resolution.
OCPS and OESPA also began bargaining for 2021-22
Additionally, the School Board offered a 2021-22 package proposal to OESPA that included a one-year $2,000 bonus for all classified personnel and an additional $1,000 bonus for those who were omitted from the governor’s $1,000 bonus program. There was also an adjustment to the insurance program for the 2021-22 school year. You may view the compensation and benefits portion of the proposal. The next bargaining session is scheduled for July 21, 2021.
