Rigorous Coursework

Everything Hillcrest does is focused on nurturing the success of our students. There are many different academic paths that lead to the same end result – high student achievement. Hillcrest provides access to challenging classes and programs to help all students accelerate their academic performance toward meeting and exceeding standards.

Magnet and/or Special Programs

There are several classes and programs at Hillcrest that provide a challenging and stimulating environment for learning that enables students with talents and interests to gain extraordinary levels of knowledge and skills.

Visual and Performing Arts

Every student at Hillcrest Elementary has an opportunity to develop his/her own innate creativity and learn to respect the artistic expressions of others. Students at Hillcrest are offered various opportunities during the school year to participate in quality, sequential, standards-based instruction in courses and programs related to visual and performing arts.

Athletics and Extracurricular Programs

The purpose of athletics and extracurricular programs in every school in OCPS is to promote good sportsmanship, academic achievement, and athletic talent. Hillcrest believes that a dynamic program of student activities is vital to the educational development of every student.
