Family Empowerment Scholarship with Unique Abilities Revocation

Family Empowerment Scholarship with Unique Abilities will be revoked/rescinded for the following reasons:

  • If the student enrolls or re-enrolls in a public or charter school
  • If the student is actively enrolled in a Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) program at the time of filing an application

  • If the student is receiving another state Scholarship (including the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship, HOPE Scholarship, New Worlds Reading Scholarship and Family Empowerment Scholarship - Equal Opportunity)

  • If the student is participating in virtual instruction

  • If the student is enrolled in the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind

"A student can lose eligibility for a scholarship if he or she is enrolled in a DJJ commitment program for longer than 21 days."
