Naviance by Hobsons

Naviance is a College and Career Platform that allows OCPS students in grades 6 through 12 to explore career paths which will lead them to graduate with the post-secondary plan of their choice. Naviance is available to all traditional middle and high school students, as well as students at Acceleration East, Acceleration West, Orange County Virtual School, BETA, and Positive Pathways.

In 6th and 7th grade, students will begin career exploration and resume building. They will take career and self-discovery surveys, and research different careers and career clusters. In 8th grade, students will identify career interests and begin their post-secondary plan.

Once students begin high school, they will continue their career exploration and begin college searches. In 11th and 12th grade, students will complete their resumes, write college essays, and apply to colleges utilizing Naviance. They will also have access to over 3,000,000 scholarship opportunities. Using this site, they can request transcripts and letters of recommendation from teachers and counselors.
