Summer VPK Program 2015

300 Instructional Hours 

Dates: June 10, 2015 through July 22, 2015 (closed July 3)

Student Hours: 7:00am to 5:00pm

Summer VPK is an option for any child that turned four years of age by September 1st, of the current school year and did not previously participate in the school year VPK program.

Parents must obtain a Certificate of Eligibility by applying online.

2014-2015 VPK Fall Registration

​To receive a VPK Certificate of Eligibility parents must complete an online application and upload required documents at https://vpkcp.floridaearlylearning.com/.

Schools are now accepting VPK applications for the 2014-2015 school year.  Your child must be four (4) on or before September 1, 2014 to be eligible.  

Students living in a school zone will be selected on a first-come, first-serve basis.

You are required to bring your child's proof of birth (such as a birth certificate) and an OCPS-accepted proof of residency (such as a deed, current lease, or tax exemption card). Click on the following links for the OCPS School Enrollment and Registration Information.

Please Note: The maximum enrollment is 20 students as required by the State.  If a school has reached the maximum enrollment, then request to be placed on their waiting list. 

Full day programs are exclusively for Title I schools.  In order for a child to attend a VPK/Title I program, they must reside in either the school’s attendance zone or another Title I school attendance zone.

VPK Round Up for the 2015-2016 Fall Registration
 VPK Round Up will begin the week of March 16-20, 2015.  Schools will welcome parents on Monday, March 16, 2015 to begin registering for VPK.
The VPK registration process has changed for the 2015-2016 school year.   Parents will have to pre-register online and will receive their issued Certificate via email. ​To receive a VPK Certificate of Eligibility parents must complete an online application and upload required documents. Please see the flyer to the right for directions on how to pre-register for VPK. 
Schools will begin accepting certificates for enrollment beginning on March 16, 2015.

VPK Round Up 2015-2016 Fall Registration for Independence Area Relief Elementary School

Certificates were accepted for this new school site at Keene's Crossing Elementary on Monday March 16, 2015 from 9am - 1pm.  If you would like to register for this site or be placed on their Wait List please contact Kimberly Peña-Rodriguez at 407-250-6260 ext. 6352237.

All documentation for this new school site must be submitted to Kimberly Peña-Rodriguez at 2500 Bruton Blvd Orlando, FL 32805 until further notice.
