Grants and Data Projects
The role of Grant Services is to work with Orange County Public Schools' (OCPS) administrators, instructional and technical personnel to generate and maintain external funding for special initiatives in support of increased academic achievement for all students. Staff works with schools, learning communities and other district level departments to prepare competitive and entitlement grant applications. When grants are funded, managers monitor program compliance with funder guidelines and district, state and federal requirements. In 2013-14, Grant Services monitored for compliance 232 projects totaling $188 million.
