  • All of the textbooks that were unaccounted for during the 1st Phase of Inventory were marked as "lost" on April 30th
  • All of the textbooks that were checked-out to teachers and students for the 2017/2018 school year were marked as "lost" on May 2nd and 3rd
  • All schools may now begin to check-in textbooks in Destiny, and use the Lost Resources and Fines Report in Destiny to monitor inventory progress. The most current Replacement Cost and Lost % will be reported to the Executive Cabinet every Friday throughout May and June
  • The final due date for this inventory was June 29th, 2018. All materials still marked as "lost" were reported as final to the Executive Cabinet in July 2018
  • The Selections for the 2017 Science Adoption were approved by the School Board in February. Please use the procedures in the FAQs to request to delete the previously adopted Science textbooks, and schedule to have them removed according to Surplus Procedures. Keep in mind that these out-of-adoption materials must be scanned for inventory first, and they will not be deleted from Destiny until July
  • School Textbook Managers may hold onto out-of-adoption materials for teachers to use as supplementary classroom materials. It is at the discretion of the Textbook Managers to decide if the materials should retain the barcode or remain in the Destiny inventory. Keep in mind that out-of-adoption materials can always be requested for deletion from Destiny at any time
  • The current default loan period in Destiny is "School Year 2018-19" with a due date of April 27, 2019.
  • All updates and procedural changes to the district textbook inventory web page will be communicated via email to the Textbook Managers and the Media Specialists
