School Board member Daryl Flynn held a dedication ceremony for the rebuilt Ventura Elementary School on May 10. The ceremony included Deputy Superintendent Dr. Jesus Jara as a guest speaker and Ms. Flynn delivered remarks as well. There were also student voice and instrumental performances. To end the ceremony, students and honored guests, including Orange County Commissioner Pete Clarke, held a ribbon cutting. A reception followed, and students led tours of their new school.
