Magnet Application Guide


Students must reside in Orange County, Florida in order to apply for a seat in magnet program.

Students do not have to reapply for admission into the same magnet program in which they are currently enrolled.

Current OCPS students 

  • You will need your 10 digit student ID number (available from your school).
  • Please complete the application for currently enrolled OCPS students and print the confirmation page for further reference.

Please note, if your student is currently an OCPS student, but was not enrolled in OCPS for the 2016-17 and/or 2017-18 school year(s), we will also need report cards showing final grades. Scan and email the report cards or transcripts to the magnet office, magnetoffice@ocps.net. Please include the student name and student ID number. Your application will not be complete without this information.

Students who live in Orange County and are enrolled in a charter school, private school, or home school

Complete the application for non-OCPS students and print the confirmation page for further reference.

For middle and high school applicants who live in Orange County and are enrolled in a charter school, private school, or home school

Complete the application for non-OCPS students and print the confirmation page for further reference. Please upload student report cards showing final grades from the previous two years, 2016-17 and 2017-18. The application will not continue without uploading these documents.  Within the application, upload one document for each required school year. For example, multiple pages or pictures for one school year should be scanned and saved in one document. NOTE: Only pdf, jpeg, jpg, png, or gif files may be uploaded.
