Support During School Hours

If you have questions or need assistance regarding your child’s mental health during school hours, you can reach out to the Mental Health team in the following ways:

Contact your child’s school directly and ask to speak with the school’s Mental Health Designee. If your child attends elementary school, their mental health designee will be their school counselor. If your child attends middle or high school, their designee will be the SAFE Coordinator. Speaking to your Mental Health Designee is the best way to make a connection with your child’s school and work together to find the best way to support your child’s individual needs.

The Parent Mental Health Helpline is available for parents to call during school hours. A staff member from the Mental Health Team will assist you with finding resources and explain the counseling services that OCPS offers. Parent Mental Health Helpline: 407-317-3694
