Welcome to the Orange County Public Schools Neglected and Delinquent Programs Department

Orange County Public Schools appropriates Title I Federal grant funds to neglected & delinquent programs within OCPS alternative education schools that are providing high quality educational services to children and youth who are in a local corrections facility, detention center or at risk program. Below you will find information on the N&D sites OCPS serves.

ORANGE YOUTH ACADEMY (OYA) 

3150 39th Street, Orlando, Florida 32839 

The Orange Youth Academy is a Florida Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) Residential Program for High-Risk and Moderate Risk males, aged 12-19, who have been committed through juvenile court.

ORANGE REGIONAL JUVENILE DETENTION CENTER (JDC) 

2800 South Bumby Avenue Orlando, FL 32806 

The Orlando Regional Juvenile Detention Center is a facility operated by the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice for boys and girls, between the ages of 11-18.

JUVENILE OFFENDERS PROGRAM (YOP) 

Orange County Correctional Facility, 33rd Street, Orlando, FL 32839

YOP is an educational program for male and female youthful offenders adjudicated as adults. The program is located at the Orange County Correctional Facility.

JUVENILE ADDICTIONS RECEIVING FACILITY (JARF)

823 West Central Avenue Orlando, FL 32805

The Addictions Receiving Facility housed at The Juvenile Assessment Center, is an assessment program for adolescents with drug and substance abuse problems.
