Virtual education for elementary students (K-5) is provided through our district partnerships with OCVS Connections Learning, FLVS Connections Academy and K12.  In order for students to be eligible for the full-time program for the 2015-2016 school year, the student must meet the eligibility requirements listed below.

Grades K-5 Criteria:

1. Children who are five years old on or before September 1, 2016 are eligible to start kindergarten in August 2016.

2. To enter first grade, a child must be six years old on or before September 1 and must have successfully completed kindergarten (Florida Statute 1003.21).

3. Have demonstrated success in the previous 2 years of school. Final report cards (If student is moving to 1st grade, then submit kindergarten final report card ).

4. State/District testing scores FCAT, FSA, FAIR, AIMS Webb, iReady, Other Assessments from the 2015-2016 school year.  If student is entering Kindergarten, no test scores required.

5. Reside in Orange County

  Section 1002.45, Florida Statutes restricts student eligibility for the district virtual instruction program to students residing within the district’s attendance area.
