Encyclopedia Britannica Online is a wonderful resource for written information, pictures, and videos, as well as links to additional magazine and journal articles.This site is directly geared to elementary students. Kids can look up almost any word from within an article, plus get pronunciations! To use from home, use the username ocps and the password orange.
  netTrekker is another fantastic resource for students researching most any topic. There's also a homework help section. All pages have been teacher-approved and categories are easy to find. To use from home, use the username ocps1 and the password ocps1.


Thomson Gale has easily navigated pages with loads of information. Simply type in the search term or choose a category. No username or password is necessary.

  Flash cards for kids!! This is a great way to practice math facts! You can set the difficulty as well as what type of facts to practice.


Discovery Kids has a website filled with disgusting facts and games! Kids are sure to love all the GROSS information they can find!!
