 Algebra 1 EOC Prep Camp

TBD

 Purpose

to remediate the students on the standards assessed on the EOC at the cognitive complexity level tested.  This program is not for credit recovery but strictly for support in passing the exam.  The Prep Camp will last through the first day of the Summer EOC Assessment testing window in order that students will be prepared to retake the exam immediately after finishing the camp.  This camp will serve both middle school and high schools students who have completed Algebra I.

PERT Prep Camp

TBD

Purpose
To prepare students for taking the PERT test with the intention of earning a concordant score for the Algebra I EOC Assessment.  Students earning a score of at least 97 on the PERT will have fulfilled their Algebra I EOC Assessment requirement for graduation.  Special consideration should be given to preparing students with the material tested on the PERT, proven test taking strategies, and the ability to do calculations without the aid of a calculator.  This program may also be used to assist students with attaining a score of >113 in order to be considered “college ready” for math placement in their senior year.   PERT will be administered during the last two days of camp. Two sessions per day will be offered.
