Mrs. Smith was born and raised in Orlando, Florida.  She is a graduate of Maynard Evans High School.  Mrs. Smith has been in education for 20 years with 10 of those being at Boone High School serving in various roles.

Masters of Science in Counseling and Psychology, Troy University
Bachelor of Business Administration, Southern Arkansas University 
Mr. Caperton worked in the architecture/construction industry before  becoming a teacher at Boone High School in 2000 where he taught Marketing and Computer classes. In 2005, he became part of Boone’s Student Services team where he is currently the department chair.

Bachelor of Science in Family Child Sciences- Florida State University
Ms. Raiford was born and raised in Jupiter, Florida. She graduated from Jupiter High School in 2009, then Florida State University in 2013. To further her education, she moved to Orlando to pursue her Masters Degree at the University of Central Florida and graduated in December 2015. Ms. Raiford was first brought to Boone as a co-testing coordinator in April 2016. This is Ms. Raiford’s first year working in Guidance.

Bachelor of Science in Psychology- University of Central Florida
Ms. Atehortua (Ms. A) was born and raised  in Flushing, New York and moved to Florida at the age of fourteen. She graduated from Timber Creek High School in 2009, from the University of Central Florida in 2013, and from Palm Beach Atlantic University on December 2015.

Ms. Langston began her career with OCPS in 1999 as a 7th grade mathematics teacher at Westridge Middle School.  In 2006, she transitioned from a mathematics teacher to a school counselor at Westridge Middle School.  She was awarded Westridge Middle School’s “Teacher of the Year” in 2008 and Orange County School Counseling Association’s “Middle School Counselor of the Year” in 2013. Ms. Langston joined the Boone team in 2015.

Bachelor of Science in Family, Youth and Community Sciences - University of Florida Master of Science in Counseling and Psychology - Palm Beach Atlantic University
Mr. Noble is a born and raised Floridian. He graduated from Cypress Creek High School, located in South Orlando, in 2003. Upon graduation from the University of Florida in 2007 he returned to Orlando where he began working for a local non-profit. Earning a Masters in Counseling Psychology in December 2011, Mr. Noble was hired in January 2012 as Boone's SAFE Coordinator.
