Dr. Phillips High School Dress Code 
  • All tops for boys and girls must have sleeves. Revealing fashions are unacceptable school attire. Low cut blouses/tops are not allowed.
  • Shear clothing and slits in clothing are not acceptable.
  • Team sports jerseys must be worn with a sleeved shirt at all times
  • Students must wear shoes. No shoes with cleats or bedroom slippers
  • Clothing MUST NOT display inappropriate pictures, words or phrases. (Example: sex, drugs/alcohol, negative language, weapons)
  • The following are not allowed:
    • Hats, du rags, bandanas, hoods, head scarves or sunglasses.
  • Apparel intended to identify students as members of a gang or group are prohibited. (School related groups, teams and clubs may wear apparel approved by the school.)
  • Appropriate length of shorts, skirts & slits will be middle of the thigh. Undergarments may not be exposed.
  • Bare midriffs/stomachs and bare sides should not show even when arms are extended overhead.
  • CONFISCATED ITEMS MAY NOT BE RETURNED TO STUDENTS. THE SCHOOL IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST OR STOLEN ITEMS.
