CLASS OF 2017 
 
UPDATED SENIOR INFORMATION
·       Senior District Common Final Exams will take place Monday April 24 – April 26. 
·       Digital device Turn in: Seniors will turn in their laptop devices the same day and time as cap and gown distribution on Monday, May 8th.  Seniors who have AP testing may turn in their laptop device the last day AP testing for your student.   Remove all stickers, sticker residue, or writing from the device.  If there are stickers, sticker residue, or writing on the device when it is returned, then there will be a $10 clean-up fee assessed.  Please have your devices free of stickers and writing prior to your assigned day for device return.   Please click on the following link- ::Digital Device Pre-Check-In Instructions:: 
·       Last official day for ALL Seniors across the district is Tuesday, May 9. 
·       Senior Breakfast is Monday, May 15 from 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Wristbands for the senior breakfast will be given out in conjunction with device check – in. ALL obligations including laptop device obligations must be cleared in order to receive a wristband and participate in Senior Breakfast. Once breakfast is complete ALL seniors must exit campus and will not be allowed to remain.   
· Parking for senior breakfast: Seniors who did not have a parking decal for the year will be allowed to park in the bus loop for the breakfast. ALL cars must be gone from the bus loop immediately following the Senior Breakfast. 
·       Graduation Rehearsal date: We will have the date for graduation rehearsal on May 2. A voice message will be sent as soon as the date has been given by the Amway Center. It will also be posted on the SENIOR SENIOR SENIOR Tab of the school website. 
·       NO SENIORS ON CAMPUS AFTER HOURS: No Senior is allowed on campus after school hours. Any senior caught on campus after school hours will be considered trespassing and will not be allowed to participate in the graduation ceremony. 
·       Graduation: Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at the Amway Center 9:00 a.m.

Cap and Gown UPADATE:
If a graduating senior didn't pick up their cap and gown, they can get them at the Herff-Jones office in Winter Park or wait until the Grad announcements are delivered at the school May 8th , by Herff-Jones.
All obligations must be cleared in order to receive Cap and Gown.

ATTIRE FOR GRADUATION CEREMONY
Males
Acceptable:  Dark trouser pants, Collared shirt, Tie, Dark dress Shoes & Socks
Females
Acceptable:  Dress or Skirt /Pants, Blouse / Sweater, Closed shoes or sandals
  
NOT ACCEPTABLE For GRADUATION
NO writing or decorating Cap and/or Gown
Flowers
Sneakers, flip flops, t- shirts, jeans
Cell phones must be out of sight

Transcripts

Seniors were given a final transcript request form to fill out in their English class. Students indicated where they wanted to have their final transcript sent upon graduation on that form. For no charge, Ms. Hobbs- Guidance Clerk will send the final transcripts to the indicated schools once the counselors electronically code and graduate the students. Parents and students do not have to make any transcript requests whatsoever. Please note that students who are not taking English on campus should see Ms. Hobbs for a form.
 
Online Course Completion
Unless other arrangements have been made with a school counselor, the deadline to have online courses completed is TBA.
 
Super Scholars
The super scholar recognition event will take place on TBA at the RBELC, time-TBA. This event is for those students who have been accepted to the nationally top ranked schools. If you have been accepted to any of them, please let your counselor know immediately so that you can receive your invitation to the event. These are the schools that are considered as the super scholar schools and if your child have been accepted they need to notify their guidance counselor immediately.
