Freedom Golf Tournament
Saturday, September 24th- 8:00 am
Freedom will host a fund-raising golf tournament on Saturday, September 24th. This 18-hole event will begin with an 8:00am shotgun start. The cost is $40 per golfer and early registration is requested. You may pay at sign-in on the day of the event. We accept cash or checks made out to Freedom High School. All proceeds are for the Spirit of the Patriot Scholarship Award.
The golf tournament will be held at Hunters Creek Golf Course in South Orlando, FL. The directions are listed at http://golfhunterscreek.com
1. We will have a $10 raffle ticket package: The $10 includes five tickets for major prizes and two mulligans per player. The two mulligans can be used anywhere except the contest holes.
2. It is a shotgun start at 8:00am. You can show up as early as 7:00am. Registration is inside the clubhouse. Go to the driving range after registering.
Please note: The driving range will close at 7:45am, so we can start with announcements by the course manager. Try to win a trophy at the Closest to the Pin contest, and the Longest Drive. Good luck at the Hole-in-One contest! We want everyone to have fun and keep up the pace of play! Bogey is max score, so if you do miss your par putt, just pick up and move on. For most of us, if you are a long way out on a par 5 you will not need to wait for the green to clear, just please be ready to hit when the team in front of you is out of the way.
3. Register by email at firstname.lastname@example.org to get your hole assignment, or by text to phone # 407-592-3371. Please share this information, along with the event flyer with registration instructions, with other fellow golfers to come and enjoy the competition and fellowship!!
The event flyer can be found here.
It is an honor to support our Freedom High School!
Freedom Open House
Tuesday, September 27th, 2016 from 6:30pm-8:00pm
Parents and Students: Please plan on bringing a copy of your current schedule to Open House. Schedules may be obtained through Progressbook. If you are unable to access Progressbook, you may visit the Dean's Reception. Upon arriving to campus, please report to your student's first period class. At 6:30pm, Mr. Bailey will share a welcome message and then follow the bell schedule to each of the subsequent periods.
This is a wonderful opportunity to meet your student's teachers and to see what they are studying this year, however, as time is limited, there will not be time for parent/teacher conferences.
We look forward to your visit!
