The Procurement Services department is composed of four offices responsible for the contracting, warehousing, and purchasing of OCPS district goods and services.  The Surplus Store offers previously used school, office furniture, and equipment to our community at greatly reduced prices in the Surplus Store which is open to the public on Thursdays.

What is Procurement Services?
Procurement and Contracting manages solicitations, purchase orders and vendor registration that is not related to construction.  These purchases include supplies, technology, software programs, and many other products and services.
Facilities and Construction Contracting is responsible for the procurement of services related to new construction, remodeling, other professional services, and term construction contract services pursuant to Sections 287.055 Florida Statutes.
Office of Business Opportunity strives to encourage the participation of local, developing, and minority and women owned businesses in providing goods and services to Orange County Public Schools
Material Management is comprised of six service oriented departments; the Supply Center, Surplus Operations, Printing Services, Records Management, Courier Services, and the Mail Center. Each provide a service that uniquely benefits the district and maximizes Orange County tax payer funds. The Supply Center branded as “My Supply Center”, provides on average of 25% to 40% discount on 1,090 items in stock because they buy in bulk and pass the savings on to the schools and district departments. Surplus Operations is an organization that when used to its fullest capability provides money directly into the General Fund through their sale of surplus items and recycling efforts of technology. Printing Services is responsible for printing district publications and managing the district multi-functional device rental program. Records Management provides the district, students, and public with a records and information management program that accurately and efficiently stores, produces, and disposes of records securely and effectively. Courier Services provides services twice a week to all schools and district offices. The RBELC Mail Center is staffed with three personnel that receive and deliver all mail and parcels.
