The Devereux Mobile Crisis Unit is a 24/7 free community resource that will send a mental health professional to your home to evaluate and de-escalate a person who is experiencing an emotional crisis. You can contact them by dialing 2-1-1.

Every situation is different, but the hospital may recommend admitting the patient for treatment if necessary for the safety of the individual.
