During the school year, OCPS hosts several special events across the school district.  These events will either recognize the achievements of our students or our staff, or they serve to engage our stakeholders of our progress as a school district.

These events also offer prime opportunities for local and regional companies to engage with our attendees and to publicly exhibit their commitment to public school education via an event sponsorship.

The OCPS Hall of Fame recognizes the achievements of OCPS alumni, OCPS educators and community champions who have made significant contributions to the world in their chosen field. Click here to view highlights of our 2018 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. Due to the COVID19 pandemic the event was rescheduled to October 3 at the Rosen Centre. The State of the Schools address brings together business and civic leaders to receive a recap of the past school year and the vision for the new school year. This year's event served as the kickoff of the OCPS 150th anniversary.  Click here for a recap of the 2019 State of the Schools address.

The Stellar Awards celebrate the most outstanding of our Teachers, Support Staff, Assistant Principals and Principals who lead our students to success. Click here for a recap of the 2020 Stellar Awards.

The Superintendent Leadership Summit brings together close to 1,500 of the school district’s middle and senior managers.  The school superintendent and her members of cabinet share a recap of the ending school year, and the vision for the new school year.  Our attendees will learn first-hand of the school district's focus for the next one to three years.

The OCPS Retirement Celebrations allow our school district and staff to salute our colleagues who have reached this professional milestone while employed with OCPS.

Thank you to our sponsors who have supported these events and many others.
