Everything Ridgewood Park does is focused on nurturing the success of their students. There are many different academic paths that lead to the same end result – high student achievement. Ridgewood Park provides access to challenging classes and programs to help all students accelerate their academic performance toward meeting and exceeding standards.

Magnet and/or Special Programs

There are several classes and programs at Ridgewood Park that provide a challenging and stimulating environment for learning that enables students with talents and interests to gain extraordinary levels of knowledge and skills.

Visual and Performing Arts

Every student at Ridgewood Park has an opportunity to develop his/her own innate creativity and learn to respect the artistic expression of others. Students at Ridgewood Park are offered various opportunities to participate in quality, sequential, standards-based instruction in courses and programs related to visual and performing arts.

Athletics and Extracurricular Programs

The purpose of athletics and extracurricular programs in every school in OCPS is to promote good sportsmanship, academic achievement and athletic talent. Ridgewood Park believes that a dynamic program of student activities is vital to the educational development of every student.
