JOYCELYN’S MESSAGE
As 2018 come to an end, I reflect on the
success of our supplier diversity programs and am most appreciative for the
many people we work with throughout the year. The Office of Business
Opportunity (OBO) Staff relies heavily on vendors, contractors, and district
staff to help achieve the district’s goal of purchasing from small and
diverse-owned businesses. Many of you have taken some type of action - by word
or deed - to help us meet the standards set by policy. Thank you.
Buying from local businesses represents an economic investment into the
lives of the children and families we serve. This is a major contribution
to the district’s vision of being the top producer of successful students in
the nation. Again, thank you.
As we celebrate these holidays, I wish
you continued peace and prosperity.
