State Assessment Results

The reports on this page contain state assessment results from multiple years, specifically the following:

  • Florida Assessment of Student Thinking (FAST) for English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics;
  • Statewide Science Assessment (SSA) Grade 5 and Grade 8;
  • End-of-Course (EOC) assessments aligned to the Benchmarks for Excellent Student Thinking (B.E.S.T.) for Algebra 1 and Geometry; and
  • End-of-Course (EOC) assessments aligned to the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards (NGSSS) for Biology, U.S. History, and Civics.

Information is organized by subject area (i.e., English Language Arts (ELA), mathematics, science, and social studies). Because of changes to state assessments in the 2022-23 school year, multiple years of data are not yet available for all subject areas; in those cases, results from the Florida Standards Assessment (FSA) are used to provide historical information. More information about specific programs is available on the Florida Department of Education’s K-12 Student Assessment website.
