Download 2023-24 PIP Packet

Only students identified as having a disability are eligible to receive PIP (Private Instructional Personnel) services. The statute is written under Florida State Statute 1003, Part V - Item 2. Item 2 in the statute states the following:  “The collaboration of public and private instructional personnel shall be designed to enhance but not supplant the school district's responsibilities under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).”  Only students with an ESE eligibility and an IEP can receive Private Instructional  Personnel services during the school day at their traditional public school.

Private Instructional Personnel (PIP) Insurance Guidelines - All PIPs and RBTs MUST submit proof of Insurance. These are general guidelines to assist a PIP/RBT with gathering certificates of insurance. However, it is the responsibility of the PIP/RBT to read the full PIP packet to understand the monetary requirements for insurance per OCPS vendor policy.

Starting on Monday, October 16, 2023, PIP packets and paperwork will no longer be accepted via email. All PIP packets and paperwork MUST be submitted using this Google Form Link:

https://forms.gle/U46SgJka9vuJaLER8

***School staff will no longer accept PIP packets. It is the responsibility of the parent/provider to upload the packet and supporting documents.

BEFORE you open the Google Form link, you must have the following documents ready for submission:

Proof of insurance
Proof of OCPS green vendor badge
Proof of professional license
Signed and initialed PIP packet

Additionally, we will no longer accept packets on the 2022 forms.
All packets MUST be submitted on the updated packet.

We have combined the old forms into one, user-friendly packet! Supervising behavior analysts ("PIP") will sign and submit only one packet per student. There is no longer a need for each PIP and RBT to submit their own separate packet for each student. (Note: Both the supervising behavior analyst and RBT must provide proof of insurance and an OCPS vendor badge.)

If you have any questions regarding the new process, please contact us at [email protected].
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
