BYOD is an acronym from Bring Your Own Device. For BYOD, a "device" is a privately owned laptop, notebook, or tablet computing device that meets district specifications. For the purposes of this program, the term "device" also includes any similar owned by OCPS that is provided for student use when a student is not able to bring one from home.

Our students are digital natives and live in a world where information creation and consumption is constantly occurring. This PowerPoint will provide an overview of BYOD and how we're implementing it in Orange County Public Schools.

BYOD Registration Forms

All devices brought from home must be registered prior to use on the OCPS network. Bring Your Own Device registration forms can be accessed and signed digitally by logging into your ProgressBook ParentAccess account. If you do not know your ProgressBook ParentAccess account information, please contact your child's school.
