
Behavior Support
The
OCPS Behavioral Support Team is available to provide services to
students in which behaviors may impede their learning process. This team
is comprised of District Behavior Analysts, District Behavior Coaches, Behavior Trainers, School-based Behavior Specialist, and School Based Behavior Trainers Technicians. It
is our goal to support schools in their efforts to design educational
settings that improve learning for all students.
Some of the services provided may include the following:

Conducting/Assisting with Assessment

Development of Behavior Intervention Plans

Assist with Development of Behavior intervention Plans

Conduct observations, record reviews, and interviews

Provide Staff Development various behavior topics

Model for staff and teachers on specific behavior interventions

Assist with Progress Monitoring and Data collection

Provides
classroom consultation services for staff who request it. This is a
collaborative process that involves observations, recommendations,
modeling of interventions and strategies, planning sessions, and follow
up support.
