During the school year, OCPS hosts several special events across the school district. These events will either recognize the achievements of our students or our staff, or they serve to engage our stakeholders of our progress as a school district.
These events also offer prime opportunities for local and regional companies to engage with our attendees and to publicly exhibit their commitment to public school education via an event sponsorship.
Our end of year Athletics Hall of Fame Award Ceremony is the capstone of the year in athletics. Companies can salute our student athletes, their coaches, athletic trainers and other staff who made a difference in our athletes' performance this year by being a sponsor at this event. The OCPS State of the Schools In Partnership with Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute takes place at Edgewater High School on Monday June 3. At this event, School Board Chair Teresa Jacobs and Superintendent Dr. Maria Vazquez provide an update re public school education in Orange County. The OCPS Retirement Celebration is our grand send off for our OCPS employees who have retired and are embarking on new adventures. The party takes place on June 20 at the Orlando Hilton.
