As the district prepares for the new school year, OCPS Transportation is making every effort to hire 100 bus drivers and 20 mechanics. To learn more about the competitive compensation and benefits package, interested applicants should attend a transportation job fair July 13 – 21. Bus driver salary compensation (pending union ratification):
- Benefited pay rates from $16.65 - $19.98 depending on experience
- Up to $9,000 additional incentive pay first year
Mechanic salary compensation (pending union ratification):
- Benefited pay rates from $17.07 - $23.54 depending on experience
Benefits:
- Paid training to get CDL license
