With school well into the year, 8 new and renovated elementary schools have scheduled ceremonies to dedicate their shiny new schools. Each of the dedications include a time capsule, ribbon cutting, student performances and speeches from distinguished guests. Meadow Woods ES held its dedication on October 17th, Laureate Park ES on November 2nd, and Westpointe ES on November 8th, and Engelwood ES on December 14th, Oak Hill ES on January 16th, Mollie Ray ES on January 30th and Rock Lake ES on February 8, 2018. Ivey Lane ES will hold its dedication on March 27th.
