In an effort to ensure students continue to receive nutritious meals during the summer, Orange County Public Schools’ Food and Nutrition Services Department will serve breakfast and lunch at no charge to all children 18 years and younger attending summer school and will hold curbside meal distributions at select schools.
Summer curbside meal distributions begin June 7, at 66 schools from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Each student will receive a weeks’ worth of meals, providing a total of seven days of breakfast and lunch. Please see the district’s Food and Nutrition Services website for more details.
While schools are closed in observance of the July 4th holiday from July 1 - 9, students will be provided meals for that week on July 1 at 13 school sites between 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. or while supplies last.
