This morning, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Squad visited S.T.E.M (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) students at Howard Middle School. Deputies explained to the students how their robot works, the kinds of drones they use and showed off a protective bomb suit. Students walked away from the presentation with a better understanding of how the concepts they are learning in the classroom are being used by members of the OCSO team every day. This kicked off the 2019 Teach-in celebration that runs through November 22, 2019
