The School Board of Orange County held its regularly-scheduled board meeting at 4:45 p.m. at the Ronald Blocker Educational Leadership Center. These are the highlights of the meeting:
 
School Board opened the first of two public hearings on the new 9-12 Math textbooks
Following School Board Policy IJ governing the adoption of Instructional Resources and Materials, the public had its first opportunity to provide comment on the recommended materials prior to adoption. The School Board will hold the second public hearing and vote on June 14.  Here are the newly selected Math 9-12 textbooks that the committee for 9-12 Math selected for adoption.
