The Orange County School Board held a rule development workshop to review proposed revisions and take public comment pertaining to School Board Policy EBBA - Disease Prevention; Face Coverings.
This draft policy makes face masks and coverings optional on OCPS campuses for the 2021-2022 school year.
Next steps: The School Board is scheduled to take a vote at the July 13, 2021 School Board meeting, with public comment available. If voted affirmatively on July 13, the effective date for Policy EBBA will be Aug. 2, 2021.
