The School Board of Orange County held a board meeting at the Ronald Blocker Educational Leadership Center Tuesday, July 14, 2020.
School Board voted to table the Reopening Plan discussion until Friday, July 17
After hours of public comment during the public hearing portion of the School Reopening Plan the School Board tabled the remainder of the discussion on the reopening plan for the 2020-21 school year until Friday, July 17 at 9 a.m. The public comment period did conclude. On Friday, the school board discussion will resume with the Superintendent and staff.
Changes regarding administrative personnel
Superintendent Barbara Jenkins announced the following new administrators:
Christopher O’Neil Burley, assistant principal, Legacy Middle
Kari Marie Darr, principal, Rock Springs Elementary
Douglas Farley, principal, SunRidge Elementary
Jacquelyn Ihnenfeld, assistant principal, Lakeview Middle
Derek Lee Knappins, principal, Endeavor Elementary
Orlando Deshun Norwood, principal, South Creek Middle
Latonya Tarjani Smothers, principal, Pine Hills Elementary
