Assistive Technology

We provide assistive technology intervention strategies, tools, and training to maximize learning outcomes of students with disabilities in OCPS. Our team functions as a consultative model to provide support to IEP teams who have identified students with assistive technology needs.

Services Available

  • Classroom Consultation: provide consultation for improving student success with assistive technology in the classroom and coach the school teams through assistive technology consideration.

  • Assessment: coaching school teams to determine strategies, materials, and equipment needed to allow students to participate more fully in their education.

  • Professional Development: provide district-wide training and school-based workshops in assistive technology use and implementation
