About William Bohn

William A. Bohn is Orange County Public Schools Executive Leader for Elementary Schools. Mr. Bohn has been an educator for more than 26 years. He has served in numerous positions within the public school system in the capacity of Executive Leader, Area Superintendent, Executive Director for Multilingual and Corrective Programs, Executive Area Director for School Transformation Office, Executive Area Director for Minority Achievement Office, Director of Multilingual Department, principal, assistant principal, curriculum resource teacher, and classroom teacher. 

Mr. Bohn has successfully developed and implemented instructional action plans that have elevated student achievement in high-poverty schools with multicultural populations and English Language Learners. Additionally, he has implemented innovative practices in transformational leadership skills, standard-based instruction, and positive school culture and environment to close student achievement gaps. 

Mr. Bohn received a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish literature from the University of Florida, a Master's degree in Elementary Education from Nova Southeastern University, and an Educational Specialist in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.

Mr. Bohn’s wife, Maria, is an instructional coach, and his son, Andres, graduated from Freedom High School and obtained a degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida
