Career and Technical Education (CTE) Career Specialists are dedicated professionals who work directly with students to help them navigate their educational path and career goals. Career specialist are located at each of our traditional high schools and work to provide and enhance Career and Technical Education opportunities for OCPS students. They serve as the primary liaison between the high school, Orange Technical College (OTC), district leadership, and community stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation and promotion of CTE programs.

Whether students are exploring CTE program options, understanding industry certifications, or planning their next steps after graduation, career specialists assist students in navigating their career pathway. They support the alignment of high school and postsecondary pathways, promotes career readiness, and ensures students have access to high-quality career-focused programs that lead to industry certifications and workforce success.
