TDAP Immunization Events

OCPS Tdap Immunization Events

The Florida Health logo features a sun over water with the words 'Florida Health'.

The Department of Health and Orange County Public Schools are proud to host a series of Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis) immunization events for incoming 7th grade students. Florida law requires all students entering 7th grade to have a Tdap booster on file before the first day of school. These events offer families a convenient, no‑cost way to meet this requirement.

To participate, families must complete the consent form prior to the event.

Why is the Tdap Required?

The Tdap booster protects students, staff, and the community from preventable diseases that spread easily in school settings. Submitting updated immunization records ensures your student can receive their schedule and start the school year without delays.
