OCPS Facility Rental Rates Are Changing January 1, 2027
Orange County Public Schools (OCPS) is updating the rates it charges community organizations to use district facilities. The new rates take effect January 1, 2027.
The updated rates apply to all facility use occurring on or after January 1, 2027, including dates that are part of existing reservations. If your organization has a season, program, or event scheduled for January 1, 2027, or later, those dates will be charged at the updated rates, even if the reservation was approved earlier.
We recognize that many organizations establish participant fees, develop program budgets, and commit to schedules months in advance. We are sharing this information now to provide groups with as much time as possible to review their upcoming facility use and plan accordingly.
Why are rates changing?
OCPS recently completed a review of its facility rental rates and rate structure to better align fees with the costs associated with operating, maintaining, securing, and supporting school facilities used by community organizations outside of school hours.
The updated rates are intended to support consistent cost recovery while continuing to provide community access to OCPS facilities.
What do you need to do?
If your organization has facility use scheduled on or after January 1, 2027:
If the updated rates affect your organization's plans, we encourage you to review your future reservations well before January 1, 2027, so you have time to make any necessary adjustments.
Facility rental rates, rate classifications, and facility-use policies are established by OCPS. Facilitron is OCPS's scheduling and reservation partner and provides the technology and support services used to manage facility reservations.

Facility Rental Information
Orange County Public Schools has implemented a new online facility rental request system. Using the Facilitron system, reservation requests can be easily submitted online. Facility users are able to access photos and descriptions of facilities, review availability, obtain estimated quotes, and pay rental invoices online.
To access the OCPS storefront and submit a reservation request, please visit the OCPS facilities request system.
Facilitron will collect and verify proof of insurance and will collect payment for facility rentals. Facility user's will be able to submit payment using a major credit card, ACH/eCheck, Paypal, or by check.
Please click for an introduction video on how to submit a reservation request. For facility users that rented OCPS Facilities prior to the transition to Facilitron, accounts have been created on your behalf. An automated email was sent to you from Facilitron.com with instructions on how to create a password and how to access your Facilitron renter account.
