Audiology Department
OCPS audiology offers FREE comprehensive audiological evaluations for ALL children residing in Orange County, birth through school age. The Audiology Department works in conjunction with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing program to provide services for students with hearing loss.
SERVICES OFFERED:
- Hearing evaluations
- Otoacoustic emissions
- Hearing aid check/analysis
- Real ear measurements
- Cochlear implant checks
- Support to students with hearing loss throughout Orange County Schools
- Fitting and maintaining of FM/DM equipment
- Training school personnel in the use of FM/DM equipment
- Coordinating county-wide Hearing Screening Program- early childhood and grades K-12
- Attend IEP/504/Educational Team meetings
