District 1 - Angie Gallo

Angie Gallo is the School Board Member for District 1 in Orange County Public Schools, first elected in 2018. She has previously served as Vice Chair of the OCPS School Board and is Immediate Past President of the Florida School Boards Association, representing school boards across the state and advocating for strong, accountable public education.

Angie has devoted more than 20 years to service and leadership in Orange County’s public schools and broader community. Her experience includes serving as PTA president at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, as well as on the Orange County Council of PTA/PTSA Board of Directors. She has held key school leadership roles as School Advisory Committee Chair at East Lake Elementary and as a member of the School Advisory Committees at Corner Lake Middle School and East River High School. Angie is also a graduate of the inaugural 2010 class of the OCPS Leadership Orange program.

Professionally, Angie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. She owns Capital Marketing Strategies and founded the nonprofit organization Parents and Educators Endorsing Public Schools, further reflecting her commitment to public education and community engagement.

Angie and her husband, Vince, raised their two daughters in Orange County, where both are proud graduates of Orange County Public Schools. The family continues to reside in East Orange County, where Angie’s personal experience as a parent of OCPS graduates continues to inform her work on behalf of students, families, educators, and taxpayers.

At the state and local levels, Angie has served on numerous boards and committees focused on student success, literacy, safety, and workforce development.
